IPL does not work with blonde or red hair, so electrolysis would be recommended for lighter tones.

The facial hair has a different cycle to body hair, and for IPL treatment to work, the hair must be actively growing. Facial treatments are scheduled every 2–4 weeks, depending on the person’s hair type, while body hair regenerates every 4–6 weeks, so the treatments are timed for optimum results.
